Local school initiative reaps great benefits!

As previously reported, on the initiative of Zalala Beach Lodge, a new primary school was built in the local village with funds from Japan, replacing the old dilapidated school building. According to the school Director, attendance rates have reached close to 100% since the new school was launched in March 2016. Lodge staff with children at the school report that now they have proper desks to sit at, they are eager to go to school every day come rain or shine! The school classrooms have also been used for adult education and training programmes funded by Zalala Beach Lodge at weekends and evenings.
